As we begin a new month, we’re reflecting on #WAWMantle, a Severn Arts and Worcestershire County Council #CreativeConnections project. The aim of the #WAWMantle project was to encourage children and young people to share their creative ideas with one another during isolation, helping to increase their confidence, creativity and social interaction. We had a wonderful response to our call out, receiving videos and photos from young people across Worcestershire and the West Midlands.
Director of Worcester Arts Workshop, Hannah Phillips said, “It’s been great to have the kids creatively leading the way for the past month. They have had more views and engagement than anything we have done before so clearly they know what they are doing and we have a lot to learn from them! Thank you to all the children and parents who have contributed to this project.”
You can still join in with our play doh demonstration over on YouTube. What character would you make?
