Worcester Arts Workshop is a registered charity, and we are very grateful to our funders, donors, volunteers and visitors for everything they do to support our work. You can read more about all the work that we do with and for young people in Worcester and the surrounding region, here.
Transformation: Inclusion & Access Fundraising Campaign.
We are launching a campaign to raise money towards funding a new lift and improved disabled access at Worcester Arts Workshop.
The money raised will help fund works to improve the accessibility of Worcester Arts Workshop and in turn will support and enrich the work we do with learning and physically disabled people.
Worcester Arts Workshop is made up of the Cafe/Bar, offices, a number of art studios, The Vaults and The Theatre. As an old building, with The Theatre and Vaults situated in the basement it is a building packed full of history and personality. The character that we know and love, does however, make accessibility an issue. At present, the only access to the basement for wheelchair users is via a chairlift, which is not always suitable for each individual. Our hope is to make it a building that is fit for purpose and suitable for all.
Our fundraising target is £1,000. Your contribution, along with others will go towards making this hope a reality. Every penny or pound is gratefully received.
If you would like to make a donation to support the work of Worcester Arts Workshop and our first fundraising campaign, you can do so via our Go Fund Me Page.
Thank you so much for your support.
If you have some spare time, enjoy meeting new people and would like to be involved in a busy, creative environment, we’d love to hear from you. Volunteering at Worcester Arts Workshop is a brilliant way to make new friends, gain experience and support your local community.
We are currently looking for volunteers in the cafe, bar, front of house and to work on arts based projects. If you’d like to find out more, contact firstname.lastname@example.org.
