An update on Worcester Arts Workshop's Temporary Closure due to COVID-19
In line with new Government guidelines about the closure of non-essential public spaces and social distancing, we regret to inform you that Worcester Arts Workshop will remain closed to the public until at least September.
Anyone with a ticket for an event/workshop between now and September will be contacted and offered a refund or a rescheduled date for the event/workshop.
We understand that it’s a very uncertain time for everyone, but it’s what’s most important is that we safeguard our visitors, staff and volunteers.
We are applying for funding for small projects throughout this lockdown period to enable the freelance artists we work with to continue and also to bring creative digital content to you, our audience.
We are keeping in touch with all staff and volunteers and trying our best to support each other in these difficult circumstances and we would love to hear from you too! Please keep checking our website, YouTube and social media channels for further information and do keep us up to date on how you’re all doing.
We hope to be able to bring some light to you during these strange times and help you feel connected. Let’s find space to create together, even if it is at a distance!
Thanks everyone, wishing you all the best.
WHATEVER, HOWEVER, WHENEVER YOU WANT TO CREATE
Share your ideas and find collaborators. Take part in groups, classes and nights – or drop in for a drink and a doodle. Grab a mic and say what you’ve got to say, shout it, sing it, write it or paint it on the walls. Find your tribe, share your journey, learn from people who’ve been there before, and those who are still finding their way.
Whoever you are, however you create – this is a place for you.
